What's on in Kildare for Halloween?

Athy Town Promoters are once again hosting a Halloween event on 31 October
Whether you’re a family seeking kid-friendly activities or a thrill-seeker ready for ghoulish fun, there’s Halloween fun across Kildare in the coming weeks.
On Saturday 19 & Sunday 20 October and every day from Saturday 26 October to Friday 1 November, Lullymore Heritage and Discovery Park invites all to experience their terror train trips and treasure hunts.
Remember to dress in your best costume, as prizes await the most creatively dressed ghouls and goblins.
Clonfert Pet Farm’s Halloween Festival runs from Tuesday 22 October to Halloween Day. You can walk through their enchanted woodlands, ride their terrifying ghost train and pick some pumpkins at their organic pumpkin village.
In Athy, the Athy Town Promoters are organising their spooktacular laser drumming show as well as a fancy-dress parade on Thursday 31 October in the Back Square starting at 6.30am. There will be prizes for best dressed pumpkin and best fancy dress.
Kildare Farm Foods have a host of spooktacular events this month. Get a tour of the farm on the farm shop ghost train, play some indoor crazy golf and join Dash and Friends for a spooky journey through the haunted pumpkin farm on the virtual rollercoaster. The pumpkin patch and costume competition are not to be forgotten.
Bargetrip.ie offer a haunted barge trip along the Grand Canal in Sallins, where ghoulish creatures await you onboard!
Redhills Adventure near Kildare town are hosting the Redhills Spooky Hollow Event on Saturday and Sunday 19-20 October. The passes include their field of spooks scavenger hunt, Halloween crafts session, ghost stories in the old house, a spooky disco and more.
There are plenty of Halloween activities taking place at the National Stud and Japanese Gardens.
As well as the regular attractions, Halloween arts and crafts, magic shows and spooky storytelling will be on each afternoon. The restaurant will be serving seasonal recipes along with their usual treats.
