Auditions to be held for upcoming Athy production

Capella Productions (Athy Musical and Dramatic Society) have announced that they are in pre-production for a unique and inclusive stage show. ‘Let The World Sing’ will be staged in Athy Community Arts Centre on Culture Night, 20 September.

Recognising the wide diversity of nationalities and cultural ethnicities in the locality, Capella Productions are aiming to stage a show which will include singers from as many different nationalities as possible.

At present, there are upwards of students from 30 different nationalities attending Athy College; the same diversity is represented in other schools and workplaces across the area. This is a ‘unique opportunity to work together to showcase the talent of our townspeople and recognise the richness that other nations and cultures can add to our society.’ 

If you are a singer (over 16 years old) and would like to take part, auditions will be held in Athy Community Arts Centre at 7.30pm on Wednesday 31 July.
