Developer renews planning on Athy housing development 

AN extension of planning permission for an Athy housing development has been approved by Kildare County Council. Cosmo Developments Athy made the application for a housing estate in Clonmullin and Gallowshill, Geraldine Road, Athy.

The development which was originally granted planning permission in September of 2021, is proposed to be located to the north east of Athy town centre and to the north of Geraldine Road. 

This proposed development is set to include 99 residential units, including five two-storey, four bedroom, detached houses, two two-storey, four bedroom, semi-detached houses, 36 two-storey, three bed semi-detached houses, 20 smaller two-storey three bed semi-detached houses, 16 two-storey, two bedroom town houses, 10 ground floor, two bedroom apartments, 10 first floor one bedroom apartments to include car parking, bicycle stores and boundary walls off Geraldine Road.
