Developer wants to extend planning for 190 homes in Kildare town

A developer is seeking to extend planning permission for over 190 homes in Kildare town.
Elmendorf Lt have submitted plans to Kildare planners to extend planning permission for 192 homes, 16 maisonettes and a childcare facility at Oak Church, Kildare.
The developer, based in Tyrellstown in Dublin, said the original application had the project divvied into three different applications, and also included permission for 88 apartments in two apartment blocks to the south-east of the site.
The planning notices said: ‘The lands on which the apartment blocks are permitted are not under the control or ownership of the applicant, Elmendorf Ltd, and are not included within this application.’ The application is due to be decided by 6 April next.
