Dispose your Christmas tree in Kildare

A forest of disposed Christmas trees in Naas
AS the festive season comes to a close, Kildare County Council has been organising free Christmas tree recycling services until 20 January.
The public is encouraged to bring their real Christmas trees to be recycled. The Christmas trees are shredded, and the mulched trees are made available to be used on local landscaping projects.
There are seven recycling sites open across Kildare: Meeting Lane carpark in Athy, the council yard at Celbridge Interchange, Clane GAA Club, Fairgreen in Naas, Lidl Distribution Centre, Newbridge (beside the R445 Roundabout), the council depot, Maynooth (beside fire station), and Moore Abbey Coillte carpark in Monasterevin.
