Get rid of old mattresses at free Kildare event
The mattress recycling event will take place on Saturday 31 August
KILDARE County Council will be holding a free mattress recycling event at the Recycling Centre in Naas, to aid households in recycling and reduce dumping across County Kildare.
The event is being held specifically for domestic customers at the Wilton Recycling Centre and Civic Amenity, Unit M1 Osberstown Business Park, Naas, W91 FXP7, between the hours of 8am until 2pm, on Saturday 31 August.
The following items will be accepted for recycling for free on the day and household quotas will apply: double, single, and triple mattresses, with a maximum of four per delivery.
Furniture such divans, pillows, bed frames, foot stools, couches, armchairs will not be accepted during the event, nor will any commercial operators, or charity companies.
All categories which fall outside of this scheme can be recycled as normal at Wilton Recycling Centre & Civic Amenity or at any such site.
