Kildare credit union partners up with local business

The credit union in Rathangan has partnered with a local business for a special offer to branch members.
Mountmellick Credit Union (MMCU), which has branches in Rathangan and Co Laois, has partnered with Stephanie's Touch Beauty Salon, also from Rathangan, for this wedding-themed offer, which will run from January to the end of March.
If you book three dermalogica facials you get a fourth for free. The credit union is also doing discounts with Flowers by Yvonne in Mountmellick Co Laois and House of Gowns in Rosenallis in Co Laois.

Danielle Fitzsimons, head of marketing at MMCU, said these benefits aim to make wedding planning a little more special and affordable for members while supporting local businesses within the community.
“In the past, limited resources and time meant we couldn’t explore partnerships like this,” Danielle said. “But now, with this pilot programme, we hope to be able to offer a range of permanent rotating benefits for our members. We also encourage other local businesses to join the programme, offering their own unique promotions and benefiting from reciprocal support and promotion.”
