Kildare firms can get help to apply for €10,000 energy grant

KILDARE County Council have launched dedicated walk-in clinics to assist Kildare’s business community in applying for the €10,000 energy efficiency grant.

The free walk-in clinics will occur every Friday in November between 10am-4pm, in MERITS, Naas (W91 FE8V). No appointments are necessary. With growing interest in energy-efficient upgrades and the availability of substantial grants, many business owners are unsure of where to start, or how to apply. The clinics aim to streamline the application process and provide expert personalised guidance to help business owners access these vital funds.
Jacqui McNabb, head of enterprise, tourism and economic development, Kildare County Council said: “The energy efficiency grant supports investment in technologies and equipment, with 75% of eligible costs from a minimum grant of €750 to a maximum of €10,000. We are keen to ensure that as many businesses as possible can avail of this funding opportunity and we are committed to supporting Kildare’s business community to increase their agility and resilience and to operate in a sustainable manner.” The benefits of attending the walk-in clinics are various including expert guidance about how to make an application, step-by-step, and will help businesses to save time.
