Kildare suppliers provided Lidl Ireland with over €100 milllion in goods and services last years.

In 2024, Lidl procured over €102 million worth of goods and services from 68 suppliers and business partners across Kildare, serving its 13 stores within the county which employs over 500 team members.

Lidl’s key Kildare suppliers include Timahoe-based cooked meats producer O’Brien Fine Foods who secured a €60 million contract with Lidl Ireland in 2023 which facilitated export to seven European countries through Lidl’s extensive international store network. Naas-based Fused by Fiona Uyema, who has been working with Lidl since 2020, with her Spice Bag and Japanese Hot sauce now permanently part of the retailer’s range.

At a national level, Lidl Ireland procured €1.2 billion worth of goods from the Irish agrifood sector in 2024 - up €89 million (or 7 per cent) on 2023 – and procured a further €426 million worth of services from business partners in Ireland in 2024.

Of the €1.2 billion procured from Irish agri-food producers, €885 million worth of goods stayed within Lidl Ireland’s operations to be sold through its local store network.
