Man dies after collision between car and e-scooter in Co Meath

A man has died following a crash between a car and an e-scooter in Co Meath in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the fatal collision on the Kentstown Road, Navan, Co Meath in the early hours of this morning.
The collision involved a car and an e-scooter and occurred at approximately 1.45am.
The driver of the e-scooter, an unidentified man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His body has been removed to the Mortuary in Our Lady's Hospital, Navan.
The driver of the car, a man in his 60s and a male passenger, aged in his 20s, were both uninjured.
The road is currently closed for examination by forensic collision investigators. Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
Any road users who were travelling in this area between 1am and 1.45am this morning and who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
