LAWLOR'S of Naas marked the countdown to 2025 with an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration in aid of a good cause. The event attracted over 140 attendees for an elegant evening of fine dining, live entertainment, and charitable giving, with a portion of the proceeds going to Tiglin, a local charity.

Tiglin operates Jigginstown Manor, a transitional housing initiative in Naas that provides young adults experiencing homelessness with critical educational and employment supports to help them achieve independence.

Lawlor's of Naas chose Tiglin as the beneficiary of the event in recognition of the charity's positive impact on the local community.
“It was a wonderful night,” said the chairman of Tiglin, Aubrey McCarthy, who hosted the event. “It was great to see the community back us with such generous donations. People are so good, and that’s a great encouragement for us to continue to do what we do.”

The evening began with a four-course dinner prepared by the talented chefs at Lawlor's. Guests enjoyed live music as they dined, setting the stage for the highlight of the night: an auction featuring boxing gloves signed and donated by Irish boxing icon Katie Taylor. The gloves, a true piece of Irish sporting history, inspired spirited bidding and added a special touch to the festivities. The gloves were purchased for €1,200 euros.

As the clock struck midnight, guests joined in a jubilant countdown to 2025, followed by celebratory dancing that continued late into the night.

The team at Lawlor's of Naas expressed their gratitude to the attendees and the wider community for their support of the event and Tiglin's vital work.
