Road closures in Athy next month

Road closures will be in place once again for RunAthy Half Marathon next month.
The event takes place on Sunday 6 April and both the distributor road and R417 will be partially closed for three hours between 9.45am and 12.45pm.
The distributor road closure will be between the R418 junction (roundabout to be open) to Fortbarrington Road.
The R417 will be closed between Duke Street in Athy and Grangemellon.
Leinster Street will be the alternative route through Athy. The R417 will have access for all estates including Coneyboro.
Diversionary routes will be signposted.
Submissions can be made to consult.kildarecoco.ie portal before 5pm on Monday 3 March.
