Kildare Rescue Tails: KWWSPCA host dog show
Sailor is a shelter star!
A HUGE thank you to all who attended our annual KWWSPCA Wag & Bone Dog Show at Punchestown Racecourse on Sunday 6 September.
It was a fabulous day with dogs of all shapes and sizes having fun and entertaining the crowd as they paraded in the ring and jumped for joy in the high jump competition.
Some of our rescue dogs came along to join the fun, including shelter stars Benny and Sailor, who both returned to the shelter sporting prize rosettes at the end of the day.

Special thanks to Punchestown Racecourse for use of their wonderful venue, to Mongey Communications for providing the sound system on the day and to Naas Vets for providing a subsidised microchipping service.
We were very fortunate to have pet photographer Erica present, who generously volunteered her time and talent to capture the many magical moments throughout the day.

There is another opportunity to support our rescue work at the end of the month when we hold our massive KWWSPCA Book Sale in Kilcullen. The event will take place in Kilcullen Town Hall on Friday 25 September from 11am – 5pm and Saturday 26 September from 11am – 4pm.
There will be a wide range of books on sale for every age and interest, so come along and have a browse.
Adult books will be priced at just €1 each and children’s books 50c each. Eircode for the venue is R56 X763. We hope to see you there.
